June 8, 2023 - KQED Headquarters, San Francisco. Dedicated to uplifting BIPOC and trans voices, Clutch the Pearls celebrated five years of providing Bay Area audiences with an incredible cabaret of drag performances with a mission to showcase cutting-edge artistry, performance and dance.

A collaboration between melissa lewis wong, malia hatico-byrne and emma tome (sound) - in response to ceramic artist Cathy Lu’s Interior Garden. The work explores queer femme friendship, matrilineages, play, grief, beauty and aging. Presented by CCCSF and Asian Babe Gang.
